Mother’s and Father’s Day Blessings
Be a part of honoring our Mothers and Fathers at Gulf Coast Christian Academy as we shower them with love. We will be collecting financial donations. The purchased gifts will be assembled and presented to the Moms and Dads a few days before their special day. Mark your offering envelope or the special memo section online “GCCA.”
national day of prayer
National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 2. The theme for 2024 is Lift Up the Word - Light Up the World with the scripture 2 Samuel 22:29-31. The church sanctuary will be open for prayer from 9 am - 4 pm.
pf Men's Event
The PF Men are coming together at Church of Hope in Sarasota on Saturday, May 4 at
8 am for a Sectional Event. Our men will meet at GCC at 7 am to carpool to this powerful day of ministry and great fellowship. Sign up in the lobby and indicate if you plan to carpool
youth beach day
Come hang with friends at Englewood Beach (2100 N. Beach Rd.) from 10 am - 1 pm on Saturday, May 4. Meet at GCC at 9:30 am if you need a ride. Make sure to sign up in the lobby! See Pastor Nic if you have any questions.
water Baptism
We will be having a Water Baptism Service on Sunday, May 5 at 5:30 pm at Englewood. Beach (2100 N. Beach Road). If you desire to be baptized by water immersion please sign up in the lobby and attend the Baptism Class Sunday, May 5 at 11 am in the Conference Room.
pf Women's "summer Tour"
Ladies, make plans now to attend our PF Sectional gathering on Thursday, May 9 at 7 pm at WestCoast Church (240 Pine Street) in Englewood. It's going to be an amazing night of women worshiping Jesus and growing through His Word. Sign up in the lobby and bring a friend. Meet at the paved parking lot of GCC at 5:45 pm that evening to carpool. Please speak with Nicolle Llewellyn for further details.
stand your ground Veterans Group
Our monthly Stand Your Ground Veterans Group is Saturday, May 11 at 11 am at the Olive Garden in Port Charlotte. Come discover God's strength to defeat the enemy and stand your ground! Please sign up in the lobby.
young adults (18-30)
Join us for our social gathering Saturday, May 11 at 7 pm. Meet at Foxtail Coffee Shop in Wellen Park to hang and grab coffee/ice cream/food from the surrounding area. Sign up in the lobby so we know you're coming!
forever young (55+)
Our GC Forever Young seniors meeting will be on Thursday, May 16 from 1-3 pm in the Life Center. Everyone 55+ is invited to come and bring a friend with you for a fun Game Day! Don't miss out on this time of fellowship. We will have a devotion and prayer to conclude our gathering. Feel free to bring your own snack. Sign up in the lobby and we'll see you there!

Sunday, May 19 at 11 am is our GC Membership Class in the Conference Room. We are excited about the chance to meet you and share the vision of Gulf Coast Church. If you are a newcomer and would like to know more about our church family or you are interested in membership, join us for this informative time of sharing together. Refreshments will be provided. Would you like to be involved in praying for others as part of a team of prayer warriors? Our GC Prayer Request email is sent out randomly with specific needs that are made aware to us. Send us an email at info@gulfcoastchurch.net or call the church office with your email address and let us know you would like to be added to the Prayer Partners email list.
kids ministry
It's an exciting time in Kids Ministry at Gulf Coast! Join the Team and love on our kids for Jesus. We have monthly rotating schedules for Nursery, Primary and Kids Church.
